To mark a 10 year milestone, Plus-Fab launches, Plus-Fab Bridal with icons Busiswa, Celeste Ntuli and The Lazy Makoti as muses.

Ten years ago, fashion designer and businesswoman Ouma Tema launched Plus- Fab, a clothing brand for plus size women.
This week, Ouma celebrates a ten year milestone by launching Plus-Fab Bridal.
“Plus size women have entrusted us to enhance their curves and design clothes that are suitable to their bodies. Launching a bridal line is the next step to celebrating plus size figures,” Ouma says.
“Every woman, no matter her size, should feel beautiful on her special day. Pictures of this day last forever, and there is no second takes,” Ouma says.

Ouma goes to says, “We want nothing more than to assist in making you feel comfortable and have the magical bridal experience you deserve. The thought of going to a regular bridal shop to try on dresses can give many plus size brides anxiety. All this because nothing is available in your size and no one seem to get it,” she adds.

Featured as models are entertainers Busiswa, Celeste Ntuli and cookbook author The Lazy Makoti.
“We are happy to be part of a project that empowers women and makes women feel and look beautiful,” Busiswa says.
Celeste says, being a curvaceous woman comes with struggling to find beautiful clothes. “But a brand like this means, bigger women can be celebrated.”

Ouma says when she started the Plus Fab brand, she hoped to one day be a one stop shop for plus size women.
“From ready to wear, swimwear now bridal, and he journey still continues. We are excited about the future and the brands evolution,” she says.

She started working with Busiswa for various red carpet events. “When we both started out, she once commissioned me to dress her for a television show she was a presenter of years back. This for me was coming full circle,” says Ouma. “She understands the brand, she fits the profile and she is incredibly supportive and talented, a mbokodo (strong woman) that supports other women.
“Celeste also commissioned me for her one woman comedy tour, dressing her for all those shows grew our relationship and friendship  strong to this point.”
Ouma and The Lazy Makoti had been admiring each other’s work for years. “We grew to be more sisters in business. she loves how our clothes fit her and I love how her cookbook make cooking so easily,” she says.
“I guess I can definitely be a fine last Makoti too Both traditional and white wedding celebrations are available for purchase, to order or hire. to order and to hire. All options with a dedicated attention to bespoke and personal touch.”
