Multi-award-winning artist TRESOR has been confirmed as the latest addition to the all-star line-up for the Scatterlings Music Festival, set to take place at Huddle Park in Johannesburg on 1 August 2026.
Widely regarded as one of Africa’s most influential contemporary musicians, TRESOR is expected to bring his globally recognised catalogue, genre-blending sound and acclaimed live performance to what organisers are describing as one of South Africa’s biggest cultural and live music events of the year.
The singer, songwriter, producer and entrepreneur has enjoyed a remarkable career, earning multiple South African Music Awards (SAMAs), achieving multi-platinum success and gaining international recognition through both his solo work and collaborations. His acclaimed projects include VII, The Beautiful Madness and Nostalgia, while his collaborations have seen him work with artists such as Drake, Tems and Scorpion Kings.
Known for hit songs including Mount Everest, Never Let Me Go and Sondela, TRESOR said he was excited to be part of a festival that celebrates African identity and connection.
“Scatterlings feels like a celebration of who we are as Africans and how music connects us beyond language, culture, or background,” he said. “To be part of something that brings together so many incredible artists and audiences in one space is really special. Johannesburg crowds always bring unmatched energy, so I’m looking forward to creating a memorable moment together.”

TRESOR joins an impressive line-up that includes Grammy Award-winning artist Zakes Bantwini, Sjava, Sun-El Musician, Msaki, Jesse Clegg, Simmy, J’Something, Sminofu and Zolani Mahola.
The festival has been curated and conceptualised by Jesse Clegg and Msaki, bringing together established and emerging South African artists in a celebration of heritage, identity and musical expression.
“On 1 August, Scatterlings Music Festival comes to life as thousands gather for a one-night-only celebration of music and meaning,” said Clegg. “It’s about bringing people together again through music that has always connected us.”
With anticipation continuing to build ahead of the event, organisers have urged fans to secure their tickets before early bird sales close on 31 May, warning that demand is expected to increase significantly in the weeks leading up to the festival.
