At the peak of his career and lapping up the fame – grief was the last thing on the cards for Akhonamathemba Zwane (22) fondly known as Sweet Guluva. The Big Brother Season Five winner announced the passing of his sister, Lwazi Zwane.
Her passing comes after he had an eventful weekend at the Durban Music Fest with Rick Ross. In a statement, his team confirmed Lwazi’s death and how devastated he was. “This is an incredibly difficult time for him and his family.” They asked for patience as he took time to mourn. “Your continued support, love, and prayers mean the world and we thank you for being with him through his journey.” Without detailing the nature of her passing, they said full funeral details would be revealed soon.
