South African radio station HOT 102.7FM has once again made an impact on the global stage, picking up three nominations for the 2024 New York Festivals Radio Awards – widely regarded as the ‘Oscars of the radio industry’. This follows the seven nominations the station received at last year’s Awards, which resulted in the station being honoured as a finalist in four categories, and the only SA platform to be bestowed that honour.
The New York Festivals Radio Awards provides a showcase to celebrate world-class storytellers from around the globe; their 66-year legacy honors creative innovation and excellence in broadcast and audio content across all genres and platforms. HOT102.7FM has been nominated for 1 x Best Music/Personality Show, as well as 2x Best News/ Human Interest Feature (see below press release for full details).
