Grammy award-winning American singer-songwriter, producer and actor Miguel is set to make his highly anticipated return to South Africa, where he will perform three live shows for fans across the country.

The R&B star is scheduled to kick off his South African run at Grand Arena, GrandWest, followed by a performance at the Sun City Superbowl and a final show at SunBet Arena in Pretoria. The performances are expected to give fans the opportunity to experience Miguel’s distinctive blend of R&B, soul and rock live on stage.

A career built on consistency

Miguel’s musical journey began when he was just 13 years old. His early passion for music developed into a career that has seen him become one of the most recognisable contemporary R&B artists, with a catalogue spanning multiple studio albums and collaborations.

The ‘Adorn’ hitmaker has built a reputation for combining soulful melodies with rock influences and modern R&B production. His five studio albums have produced a collection of songs that have resonated with audiences around the world.

South African fans can expect to hear favourites including ‘Sure Thing’, ‘All I Want Is You’, ‘Kaleidoscope Dream’, ‘Do You’, ‘Skywalker’, ‘Coffee’ and ‘How Many Drinks’, among other tracks from his extensive catalogue.

Three shows across South Africa

The tour is being presented by Vertex Events, which says the shows are designed to offer audiences a memorable live entertainment experience.

The South African shows are expected to attract fans of Miguel’s music from across the country, with audiences promised an evening built around his celebrated catalogue and live performance style.

Tickets are available through Webtickets and at Pick n Pay stores nationwide, with prices starting from R950.

The shows are scheduled for 21 May at Grand Arena, GrandWest, 22 May at the Sun City Superbowl and 23 May at SunBet Arena in Pretoria.
