A source revealed; on 31 March it the technical crew’s contracts expired management informed them they would be renewed and extended for 15 days. They were informed of a production break between 16 April 2025 and 31 May 2025 citing preparations and negotiations for Season 14. On 12 June, however, the crew was informed that they would not be contracted for the full Season 14 but would only receive an eight-week contract.
The production company had assured the technical crew that their jobs would not be on the line. The announcement on 12 June about limited contacts was a surprise. The insider said, that staff will be left without work or pay for eight weeks. “They caught everyone off guard. This could have been communicated better, so people could plan their lives and take on other jobs.,” the insider said. “
