Koko Records has postponed its upcoming The United Tour event, which was scheduled to take place on 16 October 2026 at Rhema Bible Church in Johannesburg.
The announcement was made on Wednesday, 9 September, with the Christian music label saying the decision followed careful consideration of its tour calendar and plans for 2027.
Tour postponed, not cancelled
Koko Records confirmed that the postponement was made as the organisation looks ahead to its upcoming commitments and what it describes as its spiritual calling for 2027.
“We are working behind the scenes to bring our Koko family an even greater experience. This was not an easy decision, but it was the right one,” said Nqubeko Mbatha.
The label said The United Tour remains an important part of its calendar and will continue to focus on combining musical excellence with spiritual impact.
Koko Records has positioned the tour as an event that celebrates Christian music while creating an experience centred on faith, worship and community.
Fans urged to hold onto their excitement
Koko Records co-founder Thoko Mthembu reassured fans that the postponement does not mean the end of the tour.
“We will keep the excitement alive! The United Tour has only been postponed, not cancelled,” Mthembu said.
The statement comes as fans who had already made plans to attend the October event await further information about the rescheduled date.
Ticket holders contacted
Those who have already purchased tickets are being advised to check communications from WebTickets, which has reportedly contacted ticket holders directly regarding the postponement.
Fans with questions can also contact the organisers.
Koko Records said a new date for The United Tour will be announced soon.
