Naledi Aphiwe and her former manager Londie Mncwube are once again at the centre of a bitter public fallout.
Mncwube has accused the singer of body shaming, disrespecting her mother and allegedly allowing a campaign of harassment through fake accounts to continue unchecked.
The latest allegations come months after Aphiwe publicly confirmed that she had fired Mncwube and ended their professional relationship following what she described as a “series of events”.
A management relationship that ended publicly
In April, Aphiwe announced that Mncwube was no longer part of her management team, saying she had made the decision after careful consideration.
“I would like to formally address a recent change regarding my management team. After careful consideration, I would like to confirm that I am no longer working with Londiwe Mncwabe,” Aphiwe said at the time.
She explained that the decision followed a number of incidents that had taken place in the preceding weeks but said she would not publicly disclose the details out of respect for everyone involved.
“This decision follows a series of events that have taken place over the past few weeks. While I believe it is important to be transparent with my supporters, colleagues and partners, I have also chosen to keep certain details private out of respect for all parties involved.”
The singer went further, making it clear that Mncwube had been removed from all professional dealings connected to her career.
“Moving forward, I kindly ask that any communication regarding my work, including bookings, collaborations, brands and public relations, be directed to me or my current management team only. Londiwe Mncwabe is no longer affiliated with my brand or professional activities, and she is not authorised to represent me in any capacity.”
At the time, Aphiwe framed the split as a necessary move for her future, saying she was choosing “alignment, clarity, and a team that reflects where I’m going”.
Londie says the abuse has continued since January
Now, Mncwube has returned to air her side of the fallout, claiming that she has been body shamed since January 2026.
“I’ve been body shamed since January 2026.”
She also shared a lengthy explanation of how she allegedly tried to address the situation privately before going public.
“I asked her very politely around late December and early January when these accusations started ukuthi akathole umuntu ozomsiza to trace these fake accounts,” she wrote.
Translated, she said she had politely asked Aphiwe to find someone to help trace the fake accounts.
Mncwube said she had even spoken to people within Aphiwe’s team about the alleged accounts and the harassment she says she was receiving.
She added that whenever a fake account appeared, she would allegedly be insulted and demeaned about her appearance and body.
“Njalo nakuvela iFake account ngiyathukwa ngidelelwe about my looks and body No!! Ngikhathele,” she wrote.
“Whenever a fake account appears, I get insulted and disrespected.”
She concluded: “No!! Ngikhathele,” meaning: “No!! I am tired.”

Mncwube also shared screenshots of messages she claims were sent by Aphiwe, including one message that read: “Yabo mekswusudla lo shuth usedinga usizo.”
In the context of the post, the message was presented as an alleged insult directed at Mncwube about her body and can be translated approximately as: “Hey, this fat one, you need help.”
Another screenshot shared by Mncwube included the alleged message: “Akhlakane nami loyo nokuwuhloka nasi isima bo.”
Mncwube presented it as part of the alleged abuse and body-shaming messages she received.
The former manager also shared messages allegedly connected to a confrontation involving her mother, saying she had initially kept quiet because of Aphiwe’s music career.
“I have protected uAphiwe for far too long because of her music career, but enough is enough,” Mncwube reportedly said.
The fight has moved from business to personal
What began as a professional split has now turned into a deeply personal public dispute.
Mncwube claims that she repeatedly tried to get the alleged fake-account harassment investigated before the situation escalated. She says the abuse has now crossed a line, particularly because her mother was allegedly dragged into the conflict.
According to recent reports, Mncwube also accused Aphiwe of sending abusive messages to her 49-year-old mother, who she says has a lung condition and struggles to breathe when distressed.
The screenshots shared by Mncwube have intensified scrutiny of the former manager and singer’s already strained relationship, particularly because Aphiwe had previously chosen not to reveal the exact events that led to Mncwube being fired.
For now, Aphiwe’s original statement remains the clearest public explanation for the management split: she said the decision followed a series of events but deliberately kept the details private.
Mncwube, however, appears determined to change that narrative by telling her side of the story publicly, insisting that she has reached her limit after months of alleged insults and harassment.
