South African deep house producer and DJ Jazzuelle is ushering in a new chapter in his career with the release of his latest single, Be My Light, which drops on 31 July. The song marks his first official release under Sony Music and serves as the lead single from his upcoming EP, Umnikelo, set for release later this year.
Known for his signature deep house sound, Jazzuelle uses Be My Light to introduce the sonic and emotional direction of Umnikelo, a project that reflects his personal growth, gratitude and artistic evolution.

Born in Cape Town’s Kwalanga Township, Jazzuelle has built a respected career through his distinctive productions, international performances and collaborations with some of South Africa’s leading names in house music. While he has often preferred to let his music do the talking, this latest phase of his career sees him connecting more closely with audiences without losing the authenticity that has become his trademark.
“With Be My Light, Jazzuelle sets the tone for what promises to be one of his most personal projects to date, while celebrating a significant milestone in his career through his partnership with Sony Music,” the statement added.
Be My Light will be available on all major streaming platforms from 31 July, with Umnikelo expected to follow later this year.
