Inno Morolong’s daughter Lesedi Kimberly Morolong, was crowned Miss Mini Teen South Africa and Face of South Africa Junior

Reality TV personality, club hostess and philanthropist Inno Morolong is beaming with pride after her 12-year-old daughter, Lesedi Kimberly Morolong, was crowned Miss Mini Teen South Africa and Face of South Africa Junior during a prestigious national pageant held this past weekend held in Pretoria Hatfield Arena.

Lesedi, a Grade 6 learner at St Dominic’s College, impressed judges throughout the demanding competition with her confidence, discipline, poise and dedication. The gruelling pageant journey tested contestants in various categories, requiring months of preparation, public speaking, runway training and personal development before the final crowning moment.

Known as one of the school’s hardworking and committed learners, Lesedi’s achievement is a reflection of her determination and willingness to put in the work both in the classroom and on the pageant stage.

For Inno, the victory is far more than a crown, it is the reward of years of sacrifice and commitment as a single mother determined to create opportunities for her daughter.

“Watching Lesedi being crowned was one of the proudest moments of my life. As a single mother, there have been countless sleepless nights, sacrifices and difficult decisions, but everything I do is to build a better future for my daughter. Seeing her stand on that stage with confidence and grace reminded me that hard work truly pays off. This crown belongs to her because she earned it through discipline, commitment and believing in herself,” said Morolong.

The television personality says she hopes her daughter’s success inspires other young girls to pursue their dreams regardless of their circumstances.

“I’ve always told Lesedi that beauty means nothing without discipline, respect and education. I want her to know that she can become anything she dreams of if she stays focused. I hope her journey encourages other young girls to believe in themselves and reminds parents that investing time and love in our children can change their lives.”

Fresh from her double-title victory, Lesedi says she is grateful for the support she has received from her family, mentors and school.

Her achievement now opens doors to ambassadorial opportunities, community outreach initiatives and representing South Africa at various youth development and modelling platforms.

As she proudly wears both the Miss Mini Teen South Africa and Face of South Africa Junior crowns, Lesedi Morolong is proving that discipline, perseverance and a strong support system can help young South Africans achieve greatness.
