She was once the IT girl, booked at almost every nightclub to host, and a highly sought-after video vixen. However, when she separated from late rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, things changed, and she was no longer in the limelight. Model and socialite Nicole Nyaba blamed DJ Zinhle, who started dating the rapper. Nyaba has since been lying low and has now found her place in The Nazareth Baptist Church, also known as the Shembe Church or iBandla lamaNazaretha, a large African-initiated church in South Africa, founded in 1910 by Isaiah Shembe.
A close friend revealed the former “slay queen” went back to her roots and reunited with her family. “Your family is the only people to trust,” the friend said. “She had a public fallout with them some years ago, but they reunited, and she is back going to church again.” The friend says Nyaba is now a dedicated full-time “Mnazarethe,” and she is proud. “She is very proud; she goes to church every chance she gets. She knows the nightlife is dangerous and not fulfilling.”

During her high-rolling days, Nyaba threatened to leak some nude pictures of a woman linked to an ex-boyfriend after things did not end well. She accused AKA of leaving her “unstable after the break-up. However, things have changed as the strict rules of the church with over 4.5 million followers do not allow some activities. A Nazarene takes a vow that they may not partake of any liquor consumption, and they shall not shave his or her hair. Males will be circumcised upon reaching 18years of age. They must be baptised in a pool of water. No eating of pork is allowed, and these basic requirements need to be fulfilled to attain holiness.
