He was recently involved in a physical fight that saw music producer Nicey Beatz injured after trying to stop the fight. Themba Broly Mabaso was implicated in a physical altercation that led to Nicey being attacked by approximately 15 men.
According to Nicey Beatz, Themba Broly was involved in an altercation with a guy at his apartment block. “He got into an altercation with another guy, whom he beat to a pulp. Themba beat the guy so badly, we thought he was going to die. We tried to stop him, but he overpowered us.” After the brawl, Themba is said to have left the apartment. He became almost like a demon-possessed. After the incident he left, and that guy’s friends came back for me.” Nicey believes it’s Themba’s fault he got beat by the 15 or so men.

Themba Broly has since come forward to clear his name saying the fight happened because he was defending himself. “There are no cops looking for me. There was a stupid squabble outside the apartment. It’s girlfriend wanted to leave with my phone. I was upset. Then I went up the lift with another guy,” Themba said. “I like those guys, we wer in a good space, and there was good energy. We recorded good music. I would sometimes sleep in their studio because I stay far away,” Themba shared his side of the events. “I went up the lift with Nicey, there was a guy who was lost and looking for someone I know. I gave him directions, and that was the end of it. Next thing when I called him “ntwana” he got mad. Where I come from in Alexandra, we call people, ntwana. He thought I was belittling him by calling him, but “ntwana” is a way of saying “my G” or “My Guy” not belittling,” he said. ” Then he got upset and we got into a fight because of that. Nicey got hurt because he was in the lift with me, he threw my stuff out of his house, but he was not part of the fight. I never sent people to him.”

Themba said it was not his intention to get into a fight, but he was protecting himself. “It’s unfortunate that Nicey got hurt. I offered to pay his medical bills. He said he would come back to me. He never did. Then he went to the podcast, which I think he did it for views,” Themba said. “I am not proud of the fight because my kids are on YouTibe, they watch these things and their father being called a beast. I called him and apologised. He was not supposed to go to the podcast, the podcast can’t arrest me. He was supposed to go to the police, not the podcast.

Themba addressed the assumption that he is using drugs. “If everyone in the industry smoked cocaine, nobody asked me if I smoked cocaine. If anyone asked me, I was gonna say no. I am a rockstar but I don’t smoke cocaine, it’s very expensive to buy,” he said. “I have three kids. My son has a phone and TikTok and can see. Imagine my son watching Tik Tok and there pops up some nigga explaining how much of a beast I am. He explains it as though I lost it and went out of body. It’s a lie, I was defending myself. There are no cops looking for me. People are just brutal. If someone gets close enough to me, I am already in defense mode. I am scared to get hurt, especially not on my face,” he said. ” It’s wrong to fight, but I don’t want my face to be fucked up. Some times a face card is all you have. I already have tattoos on my face. I was not a beast, we were cool with Nicey. I don’t smoke weed, I don’t do drugs and my eyes are always red.”
