Seasoned broadcaster, Luthando “LootLove” Shosha, is thrilled to be back mainstream radio, joining the esteemed drive-time team at Metro FM.  

After a hiatus from the airwaves and a stint on an international digital radio platform and sports TV show, LootLove is excited to return “home” to Metro FM. “I am elated to be joining the drive time team at Metro FM,” she says. “My journey as a broadcaster started in 2009 back home in Gqeberha and this opportunity represents a significant step in my broadcasting career. I am grateful for the trust and affirmation shown by my bosses. I am eager to contribute my skills, authenticity, and passion for radio to the team,” says LootLove.

With a wealth of experience and a passion for the medium, LootLove looks forward to growing professionally, having fun on-air, and most importantly, returning to a space she cherishes deeply. “Joining an excellent Drive Time team at Metro FM, I am excited to dive back into the dynamic world of radio and run with the wolves,” adds LootLove

LootLove’s return to Metro FM marks an exciting chapter for both the broadcaster and the station, promising engaging content and an enhanced listener experience. Lootlove’s radio journey began in her hometown of Gqeberha, as she hosted a weekly show on KingFisher FM. When she journey’d up to johannesburg, that took a break but she worked hard to get into national radio and joined Metro FM, in 2016. On Metro, she co-hosted Wide Awake with Adil, which then saw her quick rise to host a speciality show, ABSOLUTE HIPHOP with Dj Speedsta for 3 years before returning to weekend breakfast. Lootlove then stepped away from radio, only to return on a Global platform, as the First South African to host a playlist Show on Apple Radio, as the host of Africa Now Radio.

Her TV broke happened after winning a presenter search which led to her joining the Live-Amp team on SABC. Since then, Lootlove or King Loot as she is affectionally known, has has gone on to host K’shubile (a game show), The Urban music experience, The Come Up on MTV & in the same year, Lootlove hosted the redcarpet at the MTV EMA’s. She has also hosted backstage at the Metro FM awards. In 2019, after 6 years of consistency, She stepped away from the screens to make way for her journey into Motherhood, but, as of 2021, she came back as a Co-Host on Trending SA, then soon after hosted Mzanzi Magic Specials and when that wrapped in 2022, she bagged a new pam african show centred around fashion called Battle Of The Ankara. 2022 has been a powerful year and sees LootLove step into a new territitory as an Anchor for a first of it’s kind show, “RACING TODAY” which follows the history, fashion, culture and a deep into the sport of SA Horse Racing.
