He was booked to perform the hit song Imithandazo alongside Mthunzi, Kush and Reason at the Big Brother Mzansi finale on Sunday 31 March 2024, but never showed up. Musician Young Stunna (Sandile Msimango) is said to have not arrived for rehearsal the day before and is a no-show on the day of the performance.

On the night of the finale, McJunior walked out as the season’s winner taking the grand prize of R2 million. The finale saw a very close difference of 0.07% between McJunior and Makhekhe and the former was crowned the S’ya Mosha winner clinching the grand prize, including three more cheques that he won for his efforts in the Friday night arena games and tasks.

A source revealed to Buzz Life News that Young Stunna did not arrive for rehearsals a day before the show. “So, rehearsals for the finale happen a day before the actual show where all artists run through their performances and how the main show will run,” the source says. “Yung Stunna did not make it to the rehearsals, all the guys were there. His management said however that he would make it to the main event.” The source reveals that Young Stunna did not perform with the guys, as seen in the finale because he then allegedly missed his flight from Durban. “After not arriving for rehearsals, they said he missed his morning flight. He could have still driven or changed his flight from Durban and still make the evening proceedings.” Young Stunna’s management did not take calls prior to publishing.
