They have both deleted each other’s pictures on social media and called it quits. Actress, mom, and businesswoman, Nolwazi Shange changed her surname from Ngubeni back to her maiden name and Mzwandile Ngubeni removed his wedding ring. After over a decade together, the relationship has ended in tears. Both in show business, acting, and behind-the-scenes, Nolwazi and Mzwandile met in 2010 and fell in love. The couple have since separated.
A source tells Buzz Life News that it is due to infidelity. “Cheating! It’s that simple,” the source says. “They love each other, but Mzwandile has cheated more than enough times for Nolwazi to say enough is enough.” The source says Nolwazi found out that Mzwandile had attended an event in Limpopo in 2023 with one of his side pieces. Displayed her publicly, without shame to all his friends, the source says. “She found out about this and lost it. But that was not the first time. Nolwazi has constantly had to fight off many women and that was not good for her.”
Another close friend to Mzwandile says, he allegedly started going out a lot. “He wasn’t spending a lot of time at home. He was working hard. Sometimes relationships go through a tough phase that tests both of you,” the friend says. “They obviously couldn’t whither the storm.” The friend says Mzwandile has moved out and left their marital home. “He is gone. They have both removed their rings and living apart.”
Nolwazi has since taken to social media to hint about a new chapter in her life. “I began the year by making one of the most difficult decisions of my life,” Nolwazi wrote on social media. “ Today, on the last day of 2023, I am equally proud and grateful. 2023 was a reassuring hug from the heavens. God has indeed been kind. Cheers to 2024 and the fulfillment of God’s promise.” Nolwazi and Mzwandile’s traditional wedding was attended by celebrity friends Samkelo Ndlovu, the late – Akhumzi Jezile, Jessica Nkosi, Khaya Mthethwa, and many others. In 2017, they welcomed a baby Ntsika. In the previous interview, Mzwandile explained that Ntsika was not planned but was a blessing to their family. While the two had only signed in 2021, they hosted an actual wedding celebration. Taking to social media, the couple shared photos of the wedding celebration. “Five years ago, we signed and had lunch at our house with close friends and family. This year, we decided to celebrate. Nawa amazwibela,” Nolwazi said. Before the big wedding, they already had two kids.
