She won an Oscar for her costumes Black Panther, Ruth E Carter carefully was recently announced as the styling guru who put together the wardrobe for Coming to America 2.
The wadrobe icon recently posted pictures on Instagram with Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall, confirming she’ll be dressing the cast of the forthcoming Coming to America sequel. One of the designers whose garments will be used is South African designer Laduma Ngxokolo.
Laduma took to social media to share news, “Got a call from the queen of costume design Ruth Carter in 2019 to co-work with her on a few @MaXhosaAfrica pieces for the Coming 2 America film, the rest was history and history was made. My team and I enjoyed every minute of working on this project Coming 2 America.”
