Former The Real Housewives of Durban star and businesswoman Nonku Williams is reportedly engaged to her partner, Lungani Rammaledi, after he popped the question during a romantic dinner at a restaurant. Williams said yes, marking a new chapter in the couple’s relationship.
A relationship that has grown in the public eye
The engagement follows a year of public affection and declarations of commitment. In October 2026, Lungani marked their first anniversary with a message celebrating the strength of their relationship despite criticism from people who had doubted them.
Earlier in the year, Nonku described her partner as her “safe haven” and expressed gratitude for the love they had built together. Lungani also spoke openly about wanting a future with her, referring to her as his wife in a Valentine’s Day message.
From a public romance to a possible wedding
Their relationship has not been without public scrutiny, with online speculation about Lungani’s previous relationship drawing attention in February. He responded to the rumours at the time, denying that he had been married to his former girlfriend, while Nonku publicly supported him.
