Saso’s Marquee Experience is set to raise the bar once again at this year’s Hollywoodbets Durban July, returning with an impressive entertainment line-up, luxury hospitality and what promises to be a landmark fashion moment.
After being crowned Best Marquee at the 2025 Hollywoodbets Durban July, the award-winning experience is back for the 2026 edition on Saturday, 4 July, bringing together some of South Africa’s biggest music stars, leading luxury brands and celebrated creatives under one roof.
Inspired by this year’s theme, “Country Allure”, Saso’s Marquee Experience embraces the concept of “The African Frontier”, offering guests an immersive celebration of African heritage, style, music and premium hospitality.
Leading the entertainment line-up is amapiano heavyweight Kabza De Small, alongside performances by DreamTeam, K.O., IAMBUKO, Funky QLA, DBN’s Finest, Sykes, GoldMax and DankieBoy, LeSoul, Benny Maverick, DJ Feel, Louis Ribs and SnowDeep.
Adding to the cultural experience, acclaimed performer Zawadi Yamungu will present a specially curated Stella Moment in partnership with Stella Artois. Known for celebrating African heritage through storytelling and performance, Yamungu’s showcase is expected to honour African identity and culture in a unique live production.
One of the day’s most anticipated highlights will be DreamTeam’s exclusive Moët & Chandon performance, featuring Donald and Loki, with surprise guest appearances expected as they perform some of their biggest hits.

Fashion will also take centre stage as MaXhosa Africa presents its first-ever fashion showcase in Durban and at the Hollywoodbets Durban July. The internationally acclaimed luxury fashion brand will not only debut a runway presentation but will also help style elements of the marquee, transforming the venue into an immersive display of contemporary African luxury.
“Winning Best Marquee last year challenged us to think even bigger,” said Saso.
“This year we’re bringing together some of the best partners, artists and creatives in the country to deliver an experience that celebrates African excellence in every form. From fashion and music to hospitality and culture, every detail has been intentionally curated to create something truly special.”
The luxury experience is further elevated through partnerships with premium brands including Stella Artois, Moët & Chandon, Hennessy and Mercedes-Benz.
Food lovers can also expect an elevated culinary journey curated by Unilever’s leading food brands, including Rajah, Robertsons, Aromat, Knorrox and Knorr. Chefs Thuladu and Sifiso Gwala have designed a menu inspired by South African flavours and storytelling, celebrating local cuisine through a premium dining experience.
Red Bull also joins the line-up as an official partner, helping fuel a full day of entertainment and celebration.
With tickets selling fast, organisers say this year’s edition promises the award-winning blend of fashion, music, food and luxury hospitality that made Saso’s Marquee Experience one of the standout attractions at last year’s Hollywoodbets Durban July.
