From an intimate three-course dinner to a stunning all-white stage show, Nia Pearl’s Artistry performance celebrated music, artistry, and her four major Metro FM Awards nods.
Under the soft glow of Sandton’s evening skyline, Artistry became more than a venue – it transformed into a sanctuary of sound, elegance, and celebration as South African multi-platinum selling singer and songwriter Nia Pearl delivered a performance that lingered somewhere between dream and devotion.
The night began not with music, but with intimacy. Carefully curated and deeply intentional exquisite three-course dinner, where conversation flowed as effortlessly guest enjoyed sips of J.C. Le Roux. Each course set the tone for an evening that would soon transcend the ordinary but an opportunity to connect, reflect, and celebrate artistry in its purest form.
Then, as anticipation settled as guests were ushered into the theatre where the lights softened and the atmosphere shifted. Emerging onto a stage draped entirely in white, Nia Pearl appeared almost celestial in an all-white ensemble, her blonde hair – she embodied both grace and quiet power. Behind her, a four-piece band also dressed in white completed the visual harmony.
The evening was not only a showcase of musical brilliance, but also a celebration. Nia Parl took the moment to honour her recent nominations for her contribution to “Shela,” alongside Sam Deep and Boohle. The track has earned recognition across major categories: Best Collaboration, Song of the Year, Best Music Video, and Best Amapiano – a testament to its cultural impact and sonic excellence.
Reflecting on the nominations, Nia Pearl shared, “Performing at Artistry was magical, and these nominations are a reminder that the music is reaching hearts. I’m grateful to my fans, my team, and everyone who continues to support my journey,” she says.
“Every nomination is a blessing, but the Song of the Year nomination excites me the most. That category represents how deeply a track resonates with people, and knowing that my music has touched so many lives is the ultimate reward.”
Nia Pearl says with every sng creation – she tries to bring meaning and dpths.
“My inspiration comes from everyday life, love, resilience, and the rhythm of our communities. Writing is like storytelling for me; I weave emotions into melodies. On stage, I curate performances to be immersive, blending sound, visuals, and movement so the audience feels like they are part of the journey, not just watching it.”
She ended the year 2025 on a high, with the release of the hit Shela’ – this year fans can expect more music that pushes boundaries.
“New singles, collaborations and performances that celebrate music while exploring fresh sounds. I am also working on a project that blends live instrumentation with mostly all genres so expect something innovative and heartfelt. This year is about growth and I want my fans to grow with me.”
