A female suspect (23) was arrested after a thorough investigation into the murder on Nolwandle Hlahlatyi (35) on Wednesday, 10 December 2025 in SAPS Kwadwesi policing precinct.
According to preliminary reports SAPS Kwadwesi responded to a complaint in Boesak Street, Govan Mbeki, Kwadwesi area on Thursday, 11 December 2025 at approximately 06:15. On arrival, the brother of the deceased informed the members that at approximately 22:00 on Wednesday, 10 December 2025, the deceased was in her shack at the back of the main house. The brother was in the house watching TV, when he heard gunshot at the back of the house at approximately 22:00. On Thursday they went to the back of the house they noticed that the door was opened and on entering they found Nolwandle Hlahlatyi with multiple gunshot wounds.
During the investigation intelligence was gathered and on Thursday, 18 December 2025 the 23-year-old female was arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit murder and murder.
