Kaizer Chiefs has parted ways with Sabelo Radebe and reports state that more players are expected to follow. The team announced him as the first player to depart the club after at least eight years with the Glamour Boys. This come after the Soweto giants commenced preparations for the new season.

Kaizer Chiefs said they have officially parted ways with attacking midfielder, Sabelo “Bibo” Radebe,” in a statement. “Radebe, now 25, joined Amakhosi as a teenager and progressed through the junior ranks in the Kaizer Chiefs Youth Development Academy before moving up to the reserve team in the 2017/18 season,” the team said. “He signed after earning a spot in the senior team in the 2020/21 season, following an impressive performance in the DStv Diski Challenge.”

Radebe only played 18 matches with Kaizer Chiefs and provided a single assist during his time with them. “We wish Bibo all the best in his future endeavours,” Chiefs said.
Amakhosi is expected to release additional players to create space for new players who will be relied upon to rejuvenate the Soweto giants.
