Maskandi musician Mongezi Jama (23) popularly known as Mayoghurt or iBliss kaZwelonke, surprised his girlfriend, Bingelela Mpanza (34) with a marriage proposal this week.
Mayoghurt proposed during a dinner date at Suncoast Casino and Bingelela said yes and they are ready to plan their future together. Bingelela a presenter and musician known as Bings on Ukhozi FM, said yes without wasting any time. “We genuinely love each other, we are happy,” Bingelela said. “People have been criticizing the relationship, but we are okay and we are not bothered by what people say.”
Mayoghurt stars in the Mzansi Magic reality show Short and Sweet. “I planned the proposal for some time. I am happy she said yes. I want to start my family with her.” The couple has not yet set a date for the big wedding day. “Age is just a number. People ask about the difference. But it doesn’t bother us.”
