Amapiano sensation Kelvin Momo real name Thato Ledwaba (31) has apologices for missing three bookings due to “unforeseen health issues.”

His management shared a statement saying he fell ill and they made a decision to cancel the bookings for the night. “Our artist Kelvin Momo fell ill, forcing us to cancel these anticipated gigs,” the statement read. “We understand the excitement and anticipation surrounding these events and are deeply sorry for any disappointment this may have caused.” They added that the well-being of their talent is of paramount importance,

Kelvin Momo is currently also facing an R2.3 million lawsuit for missing a gig in Australia. The agreement stipulated that if Kelvin Momo missed the performance, they would reschedule within three months of postponement/cancellation. Failure to perform and reschedule would require an immediate refund to the promoter. In April, he caused fan outrage after failing to appear at Piano Palooza in Zambia. Kelvin Momo claimed he had a conflicting gig in Limpopo and could not catch his flight but fans were left disappointed and frustrated.
