Award-winning singer-songwriter Elaine is embracing the magic of the dancefloor once again with the release of her latest single, One More Dance, a collaboration with Major League DJz featuring acclaimed producers Atmos Blaq and Mpho.wav.

Released alongside an official music video, the song blends Afro-electronic production with Elaine’s soulful vocals, creating a soundtrack for those unforgettable nights that end far too soon. Built on shimmering synths and hypnotic rhythms, One More Dance explores the feeling of wanting to hold onto a perfect moment just a little longer.

For Elaine, the song reflects an emotion almost everyone has experienced.

“‘One More Dance’ hits different,” she said.

“It’s that feeling when the night is perfect and you already know you’re going to miss it before it’s even over. We wanted to bottle that emotion into a record. It’s about not wanting a good thing to end, and I think everyone can relate to that.”

The single marks another exciting chapter in Elaine’s musical evolution as she continues to explore the world of dance music while staying true to the heartfelt storytelling that has become her trademark. Her smooth R&B vocals blend effortlessly with the immersive production from Major League DJz, Atmos Blaq and Mpho.wav, creating a song that feels equally at home on festival stages, packed dancefloors and late-night playlists.

The release also reunites Elaine with Major League DJz following the success of their 2023 collaboration, All Night Long, which featured Yumbs. The track reached No. 1 on South Africa’s national radio airplay chart, proving the chemistry between the artists was one worth revisiting.

Elaine has continued to showcase her versatility in recent months, most recently featuring on Vele Uyena by Skyla Tylaa alongside JAZZWRLD and Thukuthela. The collaboration further demonstrated her ability to move seamlessly between R&B, Afro-house and electronic music.

Born Ndivhuwo Elaine Mukheli in Pretoria, Elaine has become one of Africa’s defining musical voices. Her platinum-certified debut project, Elements, made history as the first independently released album by a female artist to top the Apple Music Sub-Saharan Africa chart. Since then, she has steadily built an international profile, opening for Chris Brown during his 2024 South African tour in front of more than 90,000 fans, appearing on the covers of Glamour South Africa and GQ South Africa Digital, and representing African creativity on global stages, including Mugler’s New York Fashion Week launch.

With One More Dance, Elaine once again proves her ability to push beyond genre boundaries while remaining authentic to her artistry. Together with Major League DJz, Atmos Blaq and Mpho.wav, she has delivered a song that captures the joy of connection, the energy of the dancefloor and the desire to make life’s best moments last just a little longer.
