Grammy-winning composer Lebohang “Lebo” Morake’s new sweetheart, wife, actress and singer Nomoya Refiloe Dube, known to fans as Moya was, according to a source, briefly admitted to the emergency room this week.
Insiders claim the Mpumalanga-born beauty was treated for stress-related symptoms after struggling to cope with the intense public scrutiny surrounding her sudden marriage. “It’s all been overwhelming,” a source close to the couple revealed. “She’s not used to this level of attention, and everything happened so quickly.”
Moya has since been discharged and is said to be “taking time out” to recover privately.
The incident comes hot on the heels of Lebo M’s headline-grabbing split from his American fiancée, Tatiana Dixon, also known as Besso, whom he reportedly dumped before entering a whirlwind union with Dube. According to insiders, the pair met in the United States while Moya was navigating a difficult period in her music career after parting ways with her label.
“That’s when sparks flew,” the source said. “They connected instantly, and things escalated very quickly from there.”
Friends describe Moya as soft-spoken and reserved, qualities that allegedly captivated Lebo M. “He’s completely smitten,” the insider added. “She’s quiet, a pure and utter lady… the total opposite of Besso, who was more outspoken and confident.”
The composer’s romantic history has raised eyebrows before. Prior to his engagement to Besso, he had also called it quits with Malefu “Mel” Ntsala just months after proposing—adding to a pattern of rapid-fire relationships that has kept tongues wagging.
