Brian Sindane, the husband of late sangoma Gogo Manzini has found love again after his wife died in June 2025. Sindane has moved on after briefly grieving and is dating another woman who has since moved into the home he shared with his late transgender wife. The new woman has taken over the cars, clothes, and belongings of the late popular sangoma and businesswoman and has been labelled “Mr Sindane.”
Following the death of the renowned sangoma, Gogo Manzini, in June 2025, significant changes have unfolded in both her family life and estate. The respected traditional healer, known for her spiritual guidance and public presence, left behind a legacy that touched many across South Africa. In the months since her passing, attention has shifted to developments involving her husband, Brian Sindane.
Sources close to the family say Sindane has since moved on and is now in a new relationship. The woman he is reportedly dating has allegedly taken on a visible role in aspects of Manzini’s former lifestyle, including the use and management of certain properties and vehicles associated with the late sangoma. These developments have sparked conversation among friends and community members who closely followed Manzini’s life and work.
“She moved into the homes in Secunda. All the properties were bought by Gogo Manzini. It’s too soon to be bringing a new woman to take over everything. Brian came into the relationship with nothing, living ina shack in Pretoria, and for him not to at least show respect is saddening,” said a family member.
“She has taken over all the cars and is driving them around. Everything is the way Manzini left it, and she has just taken over and is playing house.”
The family member believes this act to be disrespectful.
“It’s so disrespectful to the family. We understand he has needs as a man, but to move in and publicly display this new woman, barely eight months since Manzini died, is disgusting. She drives Manzini’s cars, sleeps in the bed they shared and wears some of her old designer clothes.”
While some supporters have expressed concern over how quickly changes have occurred, others maintain that estate matters are private and often complex, particularly when significant assets are involved. It remains unclear how the late healer’s estate was structured or what legal processes are currently underway.
As those close to Gogo Manzini continue to honour her spiritual legacy, the situation surrounding her personal affairs highlights the sensitive intersection of grief, inheritance, and moving forward after loss.
Gogo Manzini died in what is believed to have been a Diabetic coma, according to the husband. At the time of her death, she was said to be owing thousands of rands to people who had invested in a business.
