South African influencer and DJ Cyan Boujee, real Honour Zuma, has come forward to apologise after missing what was meant to be her third booking for the evening of 31 January 2026 due to a busted tyre.

She was driving with her team in Acornhoek, Mpumalanga when her driver hit a pothole destroying two tyres of her Mercedes-Benz V-Class.

Cyan was biked to perform at Benghazi Marite for “The Baddies Party.”

In a video apology, she moved the dates to Friday, 13 February.

“I just wanted to apologise to my people who were waiting for me. I am so sorry that we couldn’t make it. We experienced an issue on the road, and it put us in a situation beyond our control. But we have moved the date to February 13,” she said.

The management at the venue confirmed they had reached an agreement and fully understood that the incident was beyond their control.

“It was beyond her control unfortunately. It happens, she did not lie, and we are grateful that our patrons also understand, and they will return to see her on the 13th.”

Cyan has been one of the most booked DJs in the country throughout the holiday season. After taking a two-week vacation in Dubai after a holiday in Cape Town. She is back to work.
