Some fans have accused the singer’s image shared by one of her friends while on a video call as suspicious and staged. They stated that due to a “lack of bruises” and “unconvincing head bandages,” she might have made up the accident to dodge double booking herself.

Makhadzi’s team confirmed the images were not posted by the singer and her team mates.

“That is not the scene of the accident. We do not know who shared those images. Makhadzi has not shared any images,” her management told Buzz Life News.

“Why would anyone fake an accident. Makhadzi respects her audience, she is professional and would not miss on gigs, even if she was performing for free. This is a serious matter, and we are giving her time to recover.”

Her management, Makhadzi Entertainment, confirmed that she is receiving treatment and remains in a stable condition, with doctors closely monitoring her progress.
