They shared a suicide note which was written by Umndeni reality TV star Flora “Mahlalentabeni” Makena. The family confirmed to the media that he had passed,only to be relieved after doctors confirmed she is alive but in the intensive care unit (ICU).
The family of the reality TV star have retracted the news of her passing and clarification that they thought she had passed. The family member said while in hospital, her body was cold and due to high emotions they were quick to assume her dead, however she is alive and recovering.
They stated that indeed financial strain was the cause of the failed suicide attempt.
In the note Makena claimed that she had been bullied by individuals named Livhuwani and Julia from the channel who have refused to pay what is due to her.
“I think that I was treated unfairly,” she wrote.
“I did nothing wrong to them, but in the end they treated me unfairly. I was asking for my money over and over but they failed me.”
She went on to say that she felt like “nothing.”
The TV channel has not yet expressed their thoughts on the passing of their cast member.
Mahlalentabeni was a cast member of the popular reality TV series that explored the dynamics surrounding polygamy, homosexuality, African culture and spirituality.
