Moja Love’s reality show star Flora Makena, popularly known as Mahlalentabeni, from the show Umndeni has died. She left a blood curdling suicide note accusing the head of channel and producer of the show of treating her unfairly.
Makena’s death was reported on Friday 26 December, however the suicide note is dated 24 December.
In the note Makena claimed that she had been bullied by individuals named Livhuwani and Julia from the channel who have refused to pay what is due to her.
“I think that I was treated unfairly,” she wrote.
“I did nothing wrong to them, but in the end they treated me unfairly. I was asking for my money over and over but they failed me.”
She went on to say that she felt like “nothing.”
The TV channel has not yet expressed their thoughts on the passing of their cast member.
Mahlalentabeni was a cast member of the popular reality TV series that explored the dynamics surrounding polygamy, homosexuality, African culture and spirituality.
Mahlalentabeni’s family confirmed the passing saying, they had “no words to express the grief.”
