In recent reports and social media trends, South African based rapper known as Money Mike SA has been accused or human trafficking, drug trafficking and cybercrimes.
In a statement shared by his management team at YHC, Money Mike SA says the reports are fake and are out to ruin his career.
“Money Mike SA has been made aware of false and fake news circulation in some non-credible platforms which imply he has been involved in criminal acts of human trafficking, drug trafficking and cybercrime,” the statement reads.
“The management team of Money Mike SA wishes to address and dismiss the false and malicious rumours and categorically state on record that the information is nothing but fake news created to discredit his hard work as a Hip-Hop musician, businessman, and a family man. The lies have been both hurtful and malicious.”
YHC Management said the rapper takes the allegations seriously and will pursue legal action.
“We confirm that these claims are entirely untrue, baseless, and have no factual or legal foundation. Money Mike SA has never been under investigation for any such crime, nor has any credible authority linked the artist to activities of this nature,” they said.
“We urge the public and media to refrain from spreading unverified information that harms the reputation and well-being to others. Legal steps will be considered against those intentionally distributing defamatory content. Money Mike SA remains committed to their music, fans, his family and the positive community work he has contributed towards the last decade of his career.”
