Seasoned Chippa United football player Andile Jali has ventured into the world of cattle farming. He recently shared videos in his Gqeberha farm where he raises livestock and grows fruits and vegetables.

In 2023, Andile Jali left Mamelodi Sundowns to join Moroka Swallows. Born in Matatiele in the Eastern Cape, Jali left the province to pursue a successful career in both international and domestic football. East London-based club Chippa United announced the signing of midfield. “Home sweet home,” said Jali about the signing.

Several football players have ventured into the world of farming including Orlando Pirates player Monnapule Saleng has been seen feeding cattle, leading fans to speculate about his farming interests. Kaizer Chiefs defender Kgotso Moleko has a farm in the Free State where he enjoys spending time. Retired Bafana Bafana player MacBeth Sibaya is involved in farming in KwaZulu-Natal, with a focus on tackling food scarcity. Former Platinum Stars player Gift Sithole has a farm where he raises cattle, sheep, and goats. Former NFL player Jason Brown retired to focus on farming.
