She launched a beauty, cosmetic, and personal care brand, Laconco Naturals, in July 2020. She expanded her brand and launched Laconco Apparel at Edgars Sandton City. Reality TV star and media personality Nonkanyiso “LaConco” Conco is now a farmer.

She recently occupied a farm, where she is raising livestock; sheep and goats. “With every lie, betrayal, and broken promises, I’ve learned to start exactly where I am,” she told her social media followers. “My dreams are mine to fulfill; it has been proven repeatedly that my gift lies in the areas where I must work the hardest.”

LaConco is known for her relationship with former President Jacob Zuma and her appearances on the reality show Real Housewives of Durban. But has built her brand. She was born in Matatiele, KwaZulu-Natal, and is the last-born child to both her parents. She has since earned her place in show business. The Forever Thina presenter won the Best TV Presenter at the 18th Annual South African Film And Television Main Awards in October 2024. She hosted season 2 of the reality series Mzansi Magic Ingane Yam. As a journalism graduate, LaConco worked as a student intern at a Zulu-language newspaper in Durban. LaConco was a member of an organization that advocates virginity testing and no sex before marriage. She joined the Nomkhubulwane Culture and Youth Development Organisation as a teenager and founded a community organization aimed at empowering the youth called Sikhanyisa iSizwe. The TV star attended and participated in reed dances, a practice that presented young virgin women to the Zulu king. She also supports and works with local brands, including Libo Creations, a Durban Fashion Fair brand owned by Sizwe Mncube.
