Just when he was starting to clean up his reputation after getting backlash recently for “refusing to take pictures with fans.” Scotts Maphuma has found himself in a bit of trouble again after allegedly arriving late for a children’s event in Matola, Mozambique.

Unlike South Africa or other more forgiving countries, Mozambique promoters do not take late coming too well, as it affects their pockets. An insider has revealed that Scotts was delayed to attend his gig which led to him being detained by police. “He was already paid the full price for the event. So If they let him go back to South Africa, he might not return and the business might lose out,” the source said. “They need to make sure he either performs or he returns the money.” Scott’s team at Gipa Entertainment is yet to respond to the arrest.

Musician Scotts recently came under fire from his fans for boycotting his events after he refused to pose for pictures with them. I’m tired of being judged for not always being in the mood to take pictures or interact with fans,” he said. However while still remaining bitter, I have forgiven him after apologising. “Those who are angry with me, I’m sorry. It’s a misunderstanding. It doesn’t make sense for Scotts to have an attitude.
