He grew up in a disciplined, and orderly home as a pareacher’s kid and found his feet in the church as a gifted musical director. Now, an established and talented force to be reckoned with. Musician, producer, and entrepreneur JUDAH_ZA real name Dumisani Ngwenya has made a name for himself in the music industry as a mentor, philanthropist, and music maverick.

JUDAH_ZA’s story is one of passion, perseverance, and dedication coupled with philanthropy. JUDAH_ZA has worked with South African music giants such as Nqubeko Mbatha, Ntokozo Mbambo, and Khaya Mthethwa many others.

“Each one of the people I’ve worked with has influenced my career in profound ways. I’ve also had the privilege of performing at major events, especially when international speakers and artists come to South Africa. These collaborations and experiences have opened so many doors for me and have given me a chance to grow, both as an artist and a person,” JUDAH_ZA says.

His passion lies in community development through music. For a few years, he has dedicated most of his time to working with music graduates in developing their business and musical skills to prepare for their future.

“I’ve been working with graduates for a few years now, helping them find their footing in the music industry. I started a company that’s mostly made up of fresh talent — young people who are either just starting out or still in school,” JUDAH_ZA says. “My goal is to create job opportunities, provide mentorship, and give them the platform they need to grow and showcase their skills. The purpose behind this is simple: I believe in the next generation, and I want to make sure they don’t have to struggle like I did when I was starting.”
