The trial for rapper and businessman Sean “Diddy” Combs has resumed at the downtown federal court in New York.
He has faced numerous allegations of sexual assault, harassment, and sex trafficking throughout his career. On 25 March 2024, simultaneous bi-coastal raids of his Los Angeles and Miami homes were broadcast while the hip-hop mogul was on his private jet.
On 16 September 2024, he was charged on three counts, including sex trafficking by force. He pleaded not guilty and was denied bail while awaiting a trial at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York. In addition, he is facing four federal lawsuits and a fifth by ex-lover Cassie Ventura for alleged rape and physical abuse.
