The couple separated in 2021. YouTuber Leon Gumede and ex-girlfriend and former Durban Gen actress Thuli were fan favourite on social media until the breakup.
Despite three years of separation, Leon has broken the silence on their break-up claiming she cheated.

The comedian stated that despite their break-up, he has not been able to move on in peace. “She is the one who called me after we broke up, and I ignored her,” he wrote. Gumede alleged Madlamuka cheated during their relationship. “I have been quiet for too long.” He said the matter is currently with the police but did not reveal why he opened a charge.

He added that Dlamuka is demanding payment for their collaborative work on YouTube. “If she wants to be paid, she must send an invoice. I will send one too for what she owes me,” he fired back.
