He is currently in travelling overseas for gigs. Amapiano artist Khulekani “PCee” Nxumalo recently took to social media to express his frustrations about the exploitation that is taking place in the Amapiano music industry.

He ranted about not being paid for some of the hits he has made for certain artists – whom he refused to name. “The songs are very big, but I have never gotten a cent from them. I have never even gotten one rand from those things. Instead, he/she must be the only big artist in SA, and then the rest follows,” he said. “First thing, we have sell-out artists. Last time I checked, we were together in this whole thing. And if no one wants to talk about this, it’s fine; we don’t have to talk about it, but I am tired,” he added. “Even right now, they can see that PCee is about to release. And then they do what? They want this artist to release. So by the time I release there’s traffic, they want to create unnecessary traffic. I’m really tired, guys; it’s really hurting my feelings,” he revealed.

While his followers, said he was referring to Amapiano DJ, Uncle Waffles, and her team, as he has made hits like Yahyuppiyah and Wadibusa with the DJ. He denied that the person in question was the Wadibusa hitmaker.

Uncle Waffles’s manager Kai, has come forward to defend the DJ. “Pcee performed with waffles in Portugal for Afronation. She flew him out to Cape Town paid for his entire stay to perform for the Prince of England, Those are the things we can disclose not mentioning other things things he struggled with that she extended a hand to help with!” he said. “Those things she doesn’t owe anyone, she does it because she wants to! Bro couldn’t make it to the video shoot for Wadibusa we had to spin the entire music video & book a 3rd day to make sure he can shoot that’s thousands of rands to accommodate and help niggas!” Kai said artists are constantly making themselves victims, “It’s their favourite story, always falling for this sympathy clout chasing then when we stop working with these underdogs they will say we gate-keeping.”
