Cape Town-born Carletheia is a new recording artist gaining traction. Her debut single “Attention” spent 20 weeks on Kfm’s Top40 chart. Carletheia’s follow up single “I’ll Always Be There,” was written and produced by 5X Grammy Award winning R&B artist and Maroon 5 keyboardist, PJ Morton.

Carle, as she’s affectionately called, is working hard to show that she is indeed a force to be reckoned with. She’s releasing new music, starting with a self-penned song “Up To The Sky,” it is an uplifting and motivational track. The message of never giving up on your dreams and continuing to strive for greatness is both timeless and empowering.

Her new single speaks to all, crossing boundaries of age, gender and cultural diversity. Carle’s music blends pop, inspirational and soul music that gives a feeling of nostalgia but also gets the Gen Z to sing along.

After working with PJ, it only made sense to work with a star filled band to bring the live element to the new release. Musicians featured on the single includes the likes of Derrick “Swol” Ray (Bassist) – currently on tour with Justin Timberlake but has toured with Rihanna, Mary J Blige, Christina Milan, Marvin Sapp and Tamela Mann. Rex Hardy (Drum) – Mary J Blige (MD), Jennifer Hudson, American Idol, Keri Hilson, Dave Hollister etc.. and Antonio Hunter Waites (Guitar) – Cape Town’s own carries his weight amongst these musical giants.

Carletheia’s “Up To The Sky” is available to stream on all leading digital stores.
