Former group member of now dismantled Amaroto, Sabelo Zuma has come with scratches and a bullet after escaping gunshots.
The Umsebenzi Wethu singer was rushed to hospital after a tour bus he was sent with close friends and colleagues was allegedly shot at by unknown gunmen. A friend who received a call from the singer after the incident said, it is still not clear who shot at the singer and why anyone would want a hit on him. “I don’t think he owes anyone money at the moment. I don’t know who would want to have a hit on him. He is also not fighting with anyone, but we will soon find out.”
The vocalist has had his phone off since the incident. “No, you won’t reach him, he is trying to stay as safe as possible. He is traumatised, and just wants to lay low for a bit,” the friend added.
