Originally conceived by two remarkable creative arts visionaries, Thembi Nyandeni and Todd Twala, UMOJA emerged from a desire to channel the energies of youth in Hillbrow away from negative influences. Today, it stands as a testament to the transformative power of the arts and its ability to uplift communities.
Featuring award-winning choreography and stunning costumes, UMOJA has garnered international acclaim, earning prestigious awards and accolades. Its breathtaking performances have left audiences spellbound, while its profound impact on communities continues to resonate.
Daliwonga will ignite the stage with his electrifying performance, infusing the atmosphere with an irresistible vibe. Metro FM New Artist Award Winner Nontokozo Mkhize will give us that award winning song Moy Ongcwele.
Joining them are esteemed guest speakers Connie Chiume and Sipho Hotstix Mabuse adding to the allure of the event.
