Moja LOVE has appointed Ms. Shoki Zama and Ms. Livhuwani Dagada as Deputy Heads of Channels for Moja LOVE (DStv Channel 157) and Moja 9.9 (DStv Channel 158).
The management and staff wish to congratulate Ms. Zama and Ms. Dagada on their new roles. They will support the Head of Channel, Ms Bokani Moyo, with theoperational and logistical functions of the company. Their vision and innovative ideas have helped create some of the most popular and lucrative primetime shows. They have been part of the team that has been instrumental in the success of Moja LOVE & Moja 99.

Shoki Zama is an expert in tv production, logistics and events management.
She recently completed a Managing Managers course at GIBS Business School, has a project management certificate through UCT’s Get Smarter Programme and is in the process of acquiring a corporate communications degree. Ms. Zama started in television production in 2008, producing shows through Bonngoe Productions for the SABC. The shows include Afro Café, Metro FM Awards and Club Culture, to name but a few. She turned her hand to event management as an events producer at VWV Group, producing internationally-acclaimed events such as the Red Bull Beat Battle
2012, Top Gear Festival 2012 and MTV Base Awards 2015. After two years, she returned to television production as a producer at Don’t Look
Down Productions working on shows such as the Channel O Music Awards and daily show, V Entertainment. She then went on to work as a project manager with Fox International Channels in their on-air department. Ms. Zama later worked as an Executive Producer at Penthouse Media and Creative Solutions. Until recently, she was the Executive Producer at Moja LOVE for: Season 3 / 4 /5 of Isencane Lengane, Ukungenwa, Ufelani, AmaBishop, Mina Nawe, Umphakathi, Boss Ladies, Prison Show and uMoya,
amongst many. Ms Zama is selfless, committed and hands-on.
Ms. Dagada is a seasoned producer with more than 10 years’ experience in television production. Her journey started after graduating with a Motion Picture Production qualification. She joined Urban Brew where she worked on top performing shows such as Friends Like These, RGB, Headline, Live AMP, Khumbul’ ekhaya, Top Chef SA and many others. She has also been a part of most of red carpets on E! Entertainment and black carpets at the Metro FM awards. Ms. Dagada has also worked on the Old Mutual Awards and One Africa Awards for DStv Africa. She furthered her studies by adding Project Management and a Managing Managers course at GIBS Business School to her list of qualifications. She is currently studying towards a marketing qualification.

Ms. Dagada first became a part of the Moja LOVE family when she produced the highly coveted and well received Highly Inappropriate with Phat Joe. Until recently, Ms. Dagada was Executive Producer for shows such as Gogo Skhotheni, Dlozi Lam, Giants of the City, Finding Bongani, Enough is Enough, Umndeni, Umndeni, ‘Sex Workers and Teenage Pregnancy, amongst many. Ms. Dagada is a woman who is creative, focused and committed.
