Rapper Rouge, real name Deko Barbara-Jessica Wedi, 29, has taken legal action against the Reckless Festival organisers after event collaboration flopped.

The Mbongo Zaka rapper has handed the events organises with legal documents for outstanding contractual fees, for allegedly “lying” in their press statement and damages after their event collaboration collapsed.
In her statement Rouge says she will be taking legal action against Reckless Festival organisers.
“In light of all the statements and dishonesty made by @recklessfestival I have since engaged my attorneys to take over the matter and I will not be making any /statements regarding this issue,” she wrote.
“The letter from my attorneys has since been sent to hood and will be delivered to Melo, Kevin and the rest of the team with a sheriff present.”

Prior to Rouge slapping them with legal documents, Reckless Festival organisers released a statement alleging that Tribe Nation, failed to sign and honour their contractual agreements.
“We are not at fault for the events that succeeded as Tribe Nation failed to sign contracts and honour agreements that were set beforehand,” read the statement.
“Promoters were denied access to the venue and the VIP section. Upcoming artists were denied opportunities to perform. Performers were forcefully ejected from the stage and told to settle in the general section,” it claimed.
