He started making music at a very young age through the church.
“My mom was a leading lady at church. So I sang at church and then moved to acapella music until I decided to make music professionally. Before Amapiano I was doing R&B, but I am a flexible vocalist and can adapt to any sound and any genre. My voice is my instrument,” he says.
His versatility has allowed him to change genres from Hip-Hop, House, Pop, and now Amapaino.
“I am a versatile artist. I can never be boxed,” he says.
Growing up he listened to Kwaito and R&B.
“I have always had a musical ear even as a young small child. When I was younger, I loved Boom Shaka and Zonke,” he adds.
