Nationally acclaimed City of Tshwane based events collective, HomeComing Events –has proudly announced the launch of its goodwill organization – the HomeComing Foundation.

Aimed with the mission of ensuring the next generation is equipped with the adequate tools for future success, the HomeComing Foundation intends to partner with relevant corporate bodies to enrich and empower students with clean environments, sustainable solutions, and sufficient equipment for better learning spaces.

The Foundation maintains the intention to make a variety of schooling communities around the country beneficiaries of monetary donations that will come through the foundation in an effort to help alleviate some of the struggle’s young learners face day to day.

Rooted in values and beliefs of accountability, transparency, learner empowerment rights to education, the support of those in schools and more, the foundation launches with details of its first project donation set to take place later this month.

“We’ve always set out to not only just entertain the youth of South Africa, but to also provide platforms that will equip our future leaders with the basics they need to succeed. We are proud to launch the foundation with this aim in mind,” said Co-Founder of Homecoming Events Katlego Malatji, on the announcement of the foundation.

Managing Director for HomeComing Foundation, Kopano Bookholane added – “We have had meaningful conversations with numerous built environment professionals & stakeholders in order to successfully roll out our first project #TheBucketStopsWithMe; which will see the foundation receive donated funds and allocate those funds to various schools in need of sanitation infrastructure over the next few months. We would like to urge for corporates and individuals to pledge donations that will aid us in our objectives.”

The Homecoming Foundation will be making more announcements in the month of July for its first initiative that will roll out in Limpopo.
