A new and exciting weekly satirical show, “On a point of Order” is set t launch on 23 September 2020 at 19:30, on Soweto TV channel 251. This is the very first show on Soweto TV that merges Current Affairs with Comedy.
Comedian Oscar Vuyisile Mgudlwa better known as his alter ego, Madluphuthu, who became an instant hit and a household name across South Africa with his hilarious movies will be the host of the show. The show will also include a segment called ‘Real News With Musa’, hosted by the show’s News correspondent Musa Mdunge.
On A Point Of Order has a parliamentary theme setting and will focus on addressing weekly headlines based on current affairs with the host Madluphuthu chairing the seatting.
The show will cover both local and international headlines where the host will get to dissect and put a comedic spin to the latest current affairs for your pleasure.
It will also feature high profile guests where we’ll get to interview and know them better through our interactive games. Get ready for more laughter as various comedians are invited on to the stage to tickle your funny bone through the segment, ‘Comic Of The Day’.
You’ll also get to learn a new word with the host through the segment called ‘Word Of The Day’, and round the show off with some weekly words of inspiration.
On A Point of Order is a fast-paced satiric show which aims to stay informative and equally bring humour to your screens.
