Mangaliso Ngema has allegedly apologised for sexual harassments claims after being fired

Veteran actor Mangaliso Ngema, 48, was fired from SABC 2 drama Lithapo for alleged sexual misconduct after female actors, Lorraine Moropa and Altovise Lawrence came forth with details of the harassment.

The father of four is dad to Blood & Water actress Khosi Ngema who plays lead, Fikile Bhele.

The latest Netflix Africa original, “Blood & Water”, starring @amaqamata and my daughter @khosingema is already No1 in the USA and other countries. The star is rising fast for these young thespians. My late mother, Patience Africa, who was also a singer-songwriter and actress, must be really happy if she can watch the show from the spirit realms. I know she was there everytime I drove Khosi to auditions. My other daughter @una_femmi is also a singer and actress. I guess you could say the bug runs in the family. Thank you @nosiphodumisa for seeing the star in my child. I’m just so proud and greatful.

Mangaliso has allegedly apologised through a private Facebook account which has continued to circulate the internet. 

This post was shared by actress Rami Chuene on social media with the caption, “You asked for the other side of the story, here you go…”. 

In the apology, Mangaliso says,” I am not going to deny any allegations leveled against my name. I will take full responsibility for the sexual harassment case. I apologize to Miss Lorraine Moropa and others for the abuse I directed towards them.”
