With the very serious Covid_19 pandemic affecting many industries; many production houses announced their popular shows might be running out of episodes due to lockdown.
Directors and producers or 1 Magic show The River put their heads together and decided to go back to the studio to shoot as many episodes as possible.
Producer at Tshedza Pictures, Percy Vilakazi confirmed to Buzzlife that they indeed will be shooting more episodes. “We are still currently working on a plan with the crew and cast to try and stick to the lockdown regulations,” he says. “Yes it will be difficult but with a virus so easily contractible. But we have bought the necessary equipment and we will minimize human contact.”
South Africa is currently preparing to begin with level 4 of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown on Friday. Infections are on the rise in South Africa and at the time of publishing, there were
4 996 confirmed cases, 2 073 recoveries, and 93 deaths in South Africa.
