Big Brother Mzansi is returning for its seventh season, and South Africans who have dreamed of stepping into Biggie’s house can now put themselves forward for a chance to become the next housemate.
Mzansi Magic, which broadcasts on DStv channel 161, has announced that entries for the new season are officially open, inviting hopeful contestants from across the country to show off their personalities, creativity and confidence.
With the season embracing the question “Uphethen?”, aspiring housemates have an opportunity to make their mark, entertain the nation and potentially walk away as the ultimate winner.
Who can audition for Big Brother Mzansi Season 7?
To qualify for the audition process, applicants must be South African citizens aged 21 years or older.
The selection team is looking for individuals who are fun-loving, creative, original and unapologetically themselves. Contestants should also be open-minded and respectful of other people’s views and lifestyle choices.
Being outspoken or entertaining may help applicants stand out, but the key is to bring a personality that feels genuine and can connect with audiences.
How to enter Big Brother Mzansi Season 7
The audition process requires hopeful contestants to submit a two-minute audition video online.
Here is how to get started:
- Visit the official Big Brother Mzansi entry website.
- Follow the instructions provided on the entry platform.
- Prepare and submit a two-minute audition video.
- Make sure your video showcases your personality, creativity and reasons for wanting to enter the Big Brother house.
Applicants should follow the official entry instructions carefully and ensure they meet the eligibility requirements before submitting their auditions.
What should you include in your audition video?
With many hopefuls likely to compete for a place in the house, making a memorable first impression is important.
The selection team wants contestants who can capture Biggie’s attention and potentially win over viewers across Mzansi.
Use the two minutes to introduce yourself, show what makes you different and explain why you would be an exciting addition to the house. Whether you are naturally funny, outspoken, strategic, adventurous or full of surprises, let your personality come through.
Rather than trying to imitate former housemates, applicants should focus on being authentic. A creative introduction, an interesting personal story or a demonstration of a unique talent could help make an audition more memorable.
The broadcaster encourages applicants to be creative, confident and original.
