Businesswoman and Tenderprenuer Shauwn “Mamkhize” Mkhize is on the brink of losing 14 of her luxury cars as The South African Revenue Service (SARS) will be auctioning the vehicles belonging to Royal AM Football Club to recover R37 million in unpaid taxes.

Mamkhize and Andile Mpisana’s Royal AM Football Club owes R37 million in unpaid taxes. MaMkhize has taken the PSL to court after her team was kicked out for lying about directors and ignoring Fifa bans. The online car auction is set to take place from 27 June to 2 July 2025 through Bidders Choice Group.
The luxury cars include a 2020 Bentley Continental GTC worth over R4 million, a 2022 Mercedes-Benz S680 Maybach “Edition 100” – one of only 100 made worldwide, a 2016 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen ONYX and a 2022 BMW i7 xDrive60. Due to the hefty tax debt, a curator now controls the club’s assets and is responsible for selling the items to cover debts. MaMkhize has taken the Premier Soccer League to court after her team was kicked out of the competition. In response, the PSL claims Royal AM lied during membership renewal in July last year and MaMkhize and her son Andile Mpisane were listed as directors when the real director was Shamish Sadab. “When we submitted the renewal on 1 July 2024, Mpisane and I were the official directors. That was the truth,” Mamkhize said. She blamed missing fixtures on a court order obtained by SARS that froze the club’s accounts in November last year. She said curator Jaco Venter failed to pay players and staff. She also accused the PSL of making things worse by cutting Royal AM’s R2.3 million monthly grant. “By cutting the grant and suspending our matches, the league itself contributed to the problems,” she said in court papers.
